Online applications have been started for 2023 entrance test for admission in BSc Nursing and four Paramedical courses in Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh.

About the college : Chandigarh, the ‘City Beautiful’,  has one of the best educational facilities in the country. Besides the Panjab University and the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, it has an Engineering College, College of Arts, College of Architecture, a number of Government and Private Degree Colleges and other prestigious and important research institutions. Government Medical College and Hospital was started in 1991. It now offers postgraduate courses in Anaesthesiology, Anatomy, Dermatology, ENT, Forensic Medicine, General Surgery, Microbiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Pathology, Psychiatry, Pulmonary Medicine, Ophthalmology and Orthopaedics. Postgraduate courses in other remaining subjects will be started soon. It also offers undergraduate courses in many allied health sciences. 

Annual fee : Rs.9,579/- for General category and Rs.9,129/- for SC category (Including Tuition Fee, Clinical Charges, Amalgamated Funds etc.)

Admission criteria : Admission shall be purely on the basis of GMCH-CET-Nursing Common Entrance Test  merit rank.
